Eine Bekannte sucht für ein EU-weites Programm im Rahmen der EU-Strukturpolitik einen/eine Communication Manager (tasks see below). Senior Position, im Idealfall rd. 10 Jahre Erfahrung mit Information and Publicity/ Communication in einer internationalen Organisation/Firma. Aufgabe ist anders als klassische Pressearbeit, da vielmehr auf Koordination und Netzwerken mit stakeholdern ausgerichtet als das Pressearbeit üblicherweise ist. Arbeitssprache: Englisch, jede weitere Fremdsprache von Vorteil. Arbeitsort: Wien, Auslandsreisen (EU) zumind. 1x Monat!

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER INTERACT SECRETARIAT

 

The Communications Manager of the INTERACT Secretariat will be responsible

 

for the performance of the following tasks:

 

1. In consultation with INTERACT Secretariat staff and the INTERACT

 

Points prepare a Communications Plan (Strategy) for approval by the

 

Monitoring Committee. Make an active contribution to its implementation,

 

as and when foreseen and needed.

 

2. As a part of the above mentioned strategy, plan and prioritize regular and

 

relevant flows of information with all relevant stakeholders; that is, identify

 

the target audience (who do we need to reach), the messages we need to

 

convey and the media that we should use (including website, conferences,

 

one-to-one meetings, electronic newsletters, press, promotional events

 

etc).

 

3. Under INTERACT II, lead the Communications Group, composed of

 

members of the INTERACT Points responsible for communication.

 

Propose a set of procedures in relation to the Communications Plan to be

 

adopted by the INTERACT Managing System (for both internal as well as

 

external communications).

 

4. Act as quality manager in relation to communications and thereby set

 

minimum quality standards in relation to the above mentioned procedures.

 

5. To manage and develop the INTERACT website and its management

 

information systems, including the management of and liaison with

 

contracted suppliers of services.

 

6. Provide input on communications for all reports to be produced by the

 

INTERACT Secretariat
